Definition - What does Environmental Support mean?
Environmental support is a term used to describe the services and other factors near a workplace that contribute to the overall health and safety of the employees at that workplace. Environmental supports are one of the factors considered when evaluating a workplace's overall workplace health promotion performance. The environmental supports available at or near a worksite are one of the factors evaluated when an organization conducts a workplace health promotion environmental assessment.
